Following the latest Government guidelines on COVID-19, we’ve given our staff the option of working at home using our established IT infrastructure. Staff may be in our offices to maintain a presence – but most office-based staff are working remotely and can be contacted by email. Please call our head office first, and they can connect or re-direct you as required.
If you have a project that needs estimating, please call or email the head office or get in touch with your regular Maple contact.

Our flexible working policies should ensure minimal disruption to the business and your projects. We understand that some projects that are on site will continue to require physical attendance. We will approach this on a project-by-project basis, and will attend site only when absolutely necessary to ensure projects can continue in these unprecedented circumstances.
As a company, we remain committed to delivering projects and working with our clients. As far as these exceptional circumstances permit, we intend to continue with as near ‘normal’ working to deliver our services.
However, the situation is changing constantly – so we will keep our plan under review. The health and wellbeing of our staff, our clients and all who we work with is our priority. We would of course appreciate your ongoing support during these difficult times.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Can I still contact Maple to discuss project details?
As with many businesses in this crisis, remote working has become the ‘norm’ for Maple. This means there are only a few staff in our offices. We’ve provided email addresses for members of our leadership team, but you can still call our head office too.
We’d urge clients and suppliers to ensure they are contactable by email and mobile, and to share this information with us. That way, we can maintain our usual high levels of collaboration.
Video conferencing tools, such as Microsoft Teams, will be used for meetings that might previously have been held face-to-face:
Design reviews – virtual team meetings to discuss the details around design (for example, fixings, mullions and façade engineering)
Workshops – discovery meetings to discuss value engineering or façade design options
Update meetings – virtual discussions about programme dates and the commercial aspects of a project
- Estimates - our estimating team is fully operational, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your project details.
Are construction sites still open?
Maple is keeping in regular contact with main contractors and onsite contacts, including sub-contractors, to assess the situation daily. At present, some sites are affected but we are working within the Government guidelines and speaking to all contractors to keep operational. However, as we are all aware, this can change very quickly. If your site is available a member of the projects team will be in touch.
Can I still send estimating requests to Maple?
Yes. Maple's estimating team is available to deal with your requests, and we are in regular contact with our supply chain remotely to discuss projects. In these challenging times we encourage you to keep Maple in mind for future projects. Please email email@example.com with your project details.
Has the Coronavirus affected payment schedules?
Maple have put in place measures to ensure payments to suppliers happen as normal without disruption. If you have a specific query about a payment due to you, please contact our Finance Team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Are there any challenges with the supply of goods and services to Maple?
As a manufacturing company, we recognise that Government guidelines could affect our supply chain. We are talking to our suppliers even more than usual and, so far, a limited number have closed. However, we are talking to other suppliers to maintain a continuous supply. If your project is affected, a member of the Maple team will contact you.
Coronavirus is affecting everyone, but the message is clear: we can get through this if we support each other. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
